Beth joyfully creates books, art and letterpress items using paper, type, and colour in her studio in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.

As a graphic designer, she designed books for a university publisher and printer as the desktop revolution began, learning on the job how to translate traditional design methods into computer skills. While in the midst of new technology and offset printing systems at work, she began to explore the quiet, slower methods of binding and printing books by hand, enjoying the flow of process and the unique results. 

At Grace Notes Press, Beth combines her design aesthetic, modern computers and vintage letterpress with traditional bookbinding methods and myriad painting and  printmaking approaches.
